Perusall update and pricing model changing

We have recently updated the Perusall integration in Moodle from LTI 1.1 to LTI 1.3.
For most instructors, your experience using Perusall will remain the same. The update provides improvements to roster synchronization, grade synchronization, and assignment access between Moodle and Perusall.
Going forward, when you add a Perusall activity in Moodle, you will automatically be using the new LTI 1.3 version.
If you are creating a new course, no additional action is required. However, if you are reusing content from a previous course, please review the migration instructions below to ensure your course is configured correctly. Courses copied from a previous semester may still contain links created with the older integration and may require a one-time update.

Pricing Model Change
Starting July 6, 2026 Perusall is changing its pricing model. The previous $0 course option will no longer be available. Instead, instructors who use Perusall will be asked to select a student platform fee for their course.
